Hammer House of Horror Homework Task

The homework for this week is to produce a detailed time line of Hammer as am active film studio. Remember that we discussed their period of prosperity and their decline. Pick some films the studio have produced as examples that demonstrate the studio at its best and it worst. Include any information that you think is relevant to show the studio in times of prosperity and when things weren't going well. This will serve as a revision guide for context of the studio.

Film Tracking Mini Case Study

Pick a film that was recently released and try to answer the following questions...

Why was the film made?
Was/is the film going to be successful? Why?
What is the films recipe for success? Or failure?
Who stands to gain the most from this film being released?
Why is it being/has it been released at the this time?
What stands in the way of its success?

Evaluate the above questions, use the information to form a mini case study for the FM2 A question.
